National Film and Animation Awards
Good news! 6 films and animations from Pembrokeshire schools shortlisted for the 2o1o National Film and Animation Awards. Here is the message we received today:
“We managed to get the Judging Day completed just before the snow and thought I ought to let you know which of your schools were shortlisted for our awards. The standard was very high this year and we are very grateful to you and your schools for their hard work created some great films. The successful schools in the following categories were:
Pennar CP School – KS1 Animation (“Crocodeil, Pysgota, Caws!”)
Sageston CP School – KS2 Film (“The School Inspection’)
St Teilos RC School – KS2 Mixed Media (“The Creation”)
Ysgol Y Preseli – KS4 Animation (“The Tell Tale Heart”)
Ysgol Y Preseli – KS4 Mixed Media (“Toe The Line Forever”)
Portfield School – SEMERC Award (“Road Safety”)
Please thank all the schools who sent in entries and I will be in touch to congratulate those that have been shortlisted. We will be sending certificates out to all of the children who participated to create the shortlisted films.
