Top Prize for Sageston School at the Media4Schools Welsh Film Awards


Pupils from Sageston School won the coveted title of Best Overall Film at the Media4Schools Welsh Film Awards today – and if that wasn’t enough, they also won the award for best camera work! Five other schools – Stackpole, Portfield, Neyland, Ysgol y Preseli and Templeton were also shortlisted out of over 100 entries and travelled up to Cardiff to soak up the incredible atmosphere of a prestigious awards ceremony at the Millennium Centre. Templeton school also had the nice surprise of being shortlisted for being shortlisted for the Best Overall Film in the Competition. The Pembrokeshire Schools Film Festival would like to thank all of the talented schools who entered this competition and helped to put the work of Pembrokeshire’s young film-makers, literally, on the national stage.
