Spittal V.C.

Our Film and Animations from the 2007 Film Festival

The photography, performances and structuring were very good and we were entertained right the way through. The editing ensured that a good pace was maintained throughout. The interesting subject was a good choice and the story was well-planned and captivating to watch.

A simple story idea with well-made scenery – the use of carpet for grass looked particularly effective on screen. The plasticine
models were a bit small, but we liked the addition of the Playmobil figures as soldiers and the close-up shot at the end. A good first animation – well done!

Well-made models and colourful scenery made this animation good to watch. Good use of close-ups and a variety of shots
helped to draw the viewer in to the action. We saw one or two hands appear by mistake, but this is a minor point because this
was an entertaining animation with a great sense of humour.
